Here are some of the behind the VFX from the movie Everest. Thanks to the wonders of CGI it's actually now possible to 'bring the mountain to Mohamed', so to speak. But tearing away the realistic backdrops of snowy mountains we get to see that for most of the scenes the snow was actually once green.
